Makes enough for 3 bath satchels

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup dried calendula flowers

1/2 cup dried rose petals

1/2 cup coarse himalayan pink salt

1/2 cup epsom salts

1/4 cup baking soda

3 drops of your favorite skin safe essentail oil

3 cinnamon sticks

3 star anise

3 muslin bags big enough to hold 3/4 cup of the blend.

I have been making this bath salt blend for several years now so I thought I would share it with you. Winter is a good time to rest and make something special for yourself

It feels good to use these beautiful and healing gifts from the earth that are non-toxic and free of plastics. I hope you try it for yourself!

HOW TO DO IT :

Blend the dried ingredients together in a bowl. Stir them with intention and breathe deeply while you combine them. Add three drops of your favorite skin safe essential oil — I like to use lavender — and then divide into three muslin bags.

Throw the bag into your bath and add a few tablespoons of your favorite oil (coconut, jojoba, olive, etc) to the bath water.

Before you get in, give the bag a good squeeze and let the the good vibes flow into the water. You can remove the bag when you enter the tub, or keep it in there with you.

Light a few candles, put on some relaxing music… and feel the Winter Blues flow away.

Make sure you store the bags in a glass jar sealed with a lid to keep them smelling extra good.
