"In Rotation at the Vine..."
Each month, Manda Marble rotates a fresh collection of original artworks at The Twisted Vine, creating an ever-changing gallery experience that flows with the seasons and cycles of inspiration.
Come back often—there will always be something new to discover.
Hayley Gallery
Hayley Gallery, I share a rotating selection of my original artwork, refreshed every three months. Each exhibit highlights a distinct collection—woven with symbolism, mystery, and the rhythms of nature—so there is always something new to experience.
This month at the gallery, you’ll find a painting of a willow tree nestled within a pine forest—steeped in October’s mystery and atmosphere. You can also experience one of my unique pressed-flower + painting pieces, created with blooms I grew, gathered, pressed, and preserved to live on in my art. Alongside these works are a smaller, dreamy floral painting and a tree study painted on a salvaged wood baseboard.
Current works are on view now, with the next collection arriving this fall.
SWANA’s RCon™ Ohio EPA National Recycling Day Art Show
An exhibit of artwork from my Salvaged Beauty Collection will be part of this forward thinking event.
The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is proud to host the National Recycling Day Art Show, presented by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA), in the RCon™ exhibit hall in Columbus, Ohio.
The show will feature art crafted from repurposed materials by local Ohio artists in honor of America Recycles Day, which is Nov. 15.
“Bringing the National Recycling Day Art Show to SWANA's inaugural RCon conference makes perfect sense. We share common goals in promoting fun ways to reuse materials and reduce waste,” explains SWANA CEO Amy Lestition Burke, MA, FASAE, CAE.
“I’m always in awe to see the creativity and ingenuity that bring these pieces to life,” Ohio EPA Director John Logue said. “We are so excited and proud to share our Recycled Art Exhibit with everyone at this year’s RCon event to show how discarded items can be repurposed to promote sustainable ways to reduce waste.”
The art show’s theme focuses on three key principles:
Reduce: Minimize the amount of waste generated;
Reuse: Repurpose old products and parts; and
Recycle: Utilize recycled resources.
"The letter ‘R’ in RCon stands for resource and other words like recycle, reuse, reinnovate, relevant or just about any other ‘R’ word you can think of, so the art show’s theme is well-aligned with the experience we’re offering to attendees,” says Lestition Burke.
RCon, SWANA’s flagship conference, will be held Nov. 12-15 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, and the art show will be open to attendees during RCon exhibit hall hours from Nov. 12-14.
As the go-to-conference for our industry, RCon redefines the waste and resource management landscape with dynamic discussions, expert speakers, and sessions designed to turn challenges into solutions. View the full agenda.
